To Bodybuild or not to Bodybuild, That’s the Question

August 28th, 2009 · 2 Comments · My Transformation

I’ve been thinking about taking the plunge for sometime now. From a business stand point it makes sense. I have hundreds of viewers that read this blog daily and I have clients that I train. If I can use myself as an example to show you guys that hard work really pays off why not?

BUT at the same time there is going to be a lot of scarf ice, pain, suffering, sweat, blood, and tears. I’m not sure if I’m not sure if I have what it takes to aggressively bulk up to 205 pounds and then cut back down for a bodybuilding competition.

For my new readers (and old), in case your wondering what I’m grumbling about, I’ve been thinking about getting into bodybuilding for sometime now. Even though I’m still skinny and working on mastering techniques for hardgainers, entering a bodybuilding show with only a year of preparation would be an amazing accomplishment. It would set myself, our hardgainer community, and this website form all the other hardgainer specific websites that have recently come up.

How many sites have actually had a normal guy document his progression from the very start all the way to the end.

I think I’m going to do this…

What do you guys think?

Damn.. as a hardgainer I totally found myself in one of the last sentences there “How many sites have actually had a normal guy document his progression from the very start all the way to the end.”
I have asked myself this question so many times. I have been pissed at the fact there is SO MUCH fuss about weight loss, that weight gain issues are always overlooked at and under the shade of all the weight loss plans.
Please, go ahead and do this if willing to. You have no idea how many people will look up and cheer for you. Both for you and them, as the same time.

      Nikola,

People like yourself are my main drive to continue towards my goal. Putting on this weight means so much more than looking a little better in the mirror. Its an all out struggle and my main hopes for this site is to show people that it is possible as long as if your willing to sacrifice just a little bit. I know I will struggle and there will be times when I want to quit but as long as I know that what I’m doing is at least helping 1 person its more than worth it.

      Thanks for the support
